Job summary

Expeditors in Austin, TX is seeking a logistics support associate to ensure smooth freight flow and accurate data entry. The role emphasizes customer service, timely tracking, and billing coordination in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year of related experience, fluent English, and basic Excel/Word skills. Hazardous materials certification is a plus, with opportunities for growth within our global network.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training
• Understanding of ocean documentation process a plus
• Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen and communicate clearly
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable
• Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet service standards
• Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
• Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs
