Job summary

Expeditors is a global logistics company headquartered in Seattle, with a mission to deliver seamless supply chain solutions. We are seeking a detail‑oriented logistics professional in Kansas City to help ensure smooth freight flow, accurate data entry, and timely Track & Trace.

You will coordinate with customers and suppliers to meet service standards, assist with billing, and support KPI targets. The role welcomes 6 months to 1 year of related experience; HazMat certification is preferred;

Qualifications

• 1–year related experience or training in logistics.
• Understanding of ocean documentation processes is a plus.
• Proactive, strong organizational and communication skills.
• Hazardous Materials certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.
• Track and trace Transcon files and reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing.
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable.
• Interact with customers in arranging shipments to meet service standards.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Meet compliance at all times and adhere to company policies.
• Coordinate network communications and timely email responses.
• Meet KPI standards per company policy.
• Keep internal DLSOPs updated with customer procedures.
