Expeditors in Austin, TX is seeking a Customs Brokerage Lead Agent to ensure smooth import/export clearance and timely data entry into our operational systems. You will work with a dedicated team to deliver accurate information and timely service for clients.

Qualifications

Good knowledge of customs brokerage process and customs legislation.
Understanding of ocean, road and air documentation processes.
Effective interpersonal skills and proactive, organized approach.

Responsibilities

Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.
Track and trace customs files and reporting.
Ensure accurate and timely client billing.
Understand and interpret all elements of the import/export Desk Operating Procedures.
Transfer customs declaration information into the customs entry system for valid declarations.
Assist with verification and submission of declarations to customs authorities.
Ensure compliance with regulations at all times.
