Job summary

Niwota Solutions, a leading global logistics provider, seeks an experienced freight forwarding sales professional to expand our ocean and air freight offerings in the United States. Build relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers and retailers, and design customized logistics solutions.

You’ll collaborate with Pricing, Product Management, Operations and Customer Success to win new business, forecast opportunities, and achieve sales goals with uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• Proven business development experience in freight forwarding, NVOCC, or international logistics.
• Strong network within import/export or transportation industries.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities for international ocean and air freight services.
• Build long-term relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and other supply chain customers.
• Identify customer needs and design customized logistics solutions.
• Prepare competitive proposals and negotiate service agreements.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Product Management, Operations, and Customer Success to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities.
• Stay informed of market trends and industry changes.
• Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals.
