Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager I to lead domestic and international freight movements, recruit and develop staff, and drive profitability. You’ll work with carriers, internal teams, and clients to optimize service levels and expand business lines, ensuring timely and efficient product flow.

The role requires 5+ years in international freight forwarding, P&L management, and supervisory experience within a global logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or equivalent experience is required.
• 5+ years of international freight forwarding, airfreight and ocean freight.
• 3+ years P&L experience is required.
• 3+ years of operations supervisory experience managing a team.
• 3+ years international freight forward industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the station's operations strategy for AIT.
• Manage carrier relationships to ensure best value and service.
• Monitor SLA compliance and service terms with providers.
• Coach and mentor staff in a global environment.
• Support key account operations and ensure reliable service.
