Job summary

Eaworkforce is seeking an experienced International Freight & Logistics Manager to lead domestic and global transportation operations from Newburgh, NY. You will oversee import/export activities, negotiate rates, manage carriers and compliance, and drive efficiency across the supply chain.

The role requires expertise in international shipping, customs regulations, and logistics leadership, with a focus on cost control and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in international freight, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of import/export regulations and trade compliance.
• Experience negotiating freight rates and contracts with carriers and forwarders.
• Leadership experience managing logistics or transportation teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage domestic and international transportation activities, including air, ocean, and ground freight.
• Coordinate shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
• Negotiate transportation rates and service agreements to optimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and shipping documentation standards.
• Oversee logistics reporting, shipment tracking, and transportation metrics.
• Lead, train, and develop logistics personnel to promote operational excellence.
• Monitor logistics budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings.
