Job summary

York Design Group is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead domestic and international freight operations, optimize transport costs, and ensure on-time delivery across multiple modes. The role requires HTS classifications, ASN accuracy, and freight invoicing audits, with collaboration across warehousing, IT, and customer service to improve supply chain performance.

You will establish performance metrics, manage carrier relationships, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and ERP

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Experience managing logistics operations with Asian suppliers or partners is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Manage all domestic and international freight operations across TL, LTL, ocean, air, parcel, and intermodal.
• Develop transportation strategies to optimize cost, service and transit times.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet customer delivery requirements and production schedules.
• Monitor carrier performance, on-time delivery, freight claims and service levels.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to reduce freight costs and improve logistics efficiency.
• Audit freight invoices and verify charges against contracts and accessorial fees.
