HireNow Staffing is seeking a seasoned Global Freight Forwarding Sales Executive to develop new international business and manage client portfolios. This role emphasizes building relationships, negotiating pricing, and delivering customized freight solutions across air, ocean, and multimodal transport.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in logistics sales, strong knowledge of international shipping, and comfort working with CRM systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of international freight forwarding or global logistics sales.
• Strong understanding of air/ocean freight and global supply chain operations.
• Experience with documentation, customs regulations, and import/export processes.
• Proven success in developing new business and achieving sales goals.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to engage decision-makers at multiple levels.
• Pricing proposals and customized logistics solutions experience.
• Residency within commuting distance of Chicago, Illinois; U.S.-based applicants only.

Responsibilities

• Develop new international freight forwarding business through strategic prospecting and relationship development.
• Grow and manage an existing portfolio of freight forwarding clients; identify expansion opportunities.
• Consult with customers to understand shipping requirements and propose cost-effective logistics solutions.
• Prepare competitive quotations, proposals, and service agreements.
• Negotiate rates with customers; collaborate with operations for profitable solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure flawless shipment execution and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers and supply chain decision-makers.
• Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records, and revenue reporting.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to promote long-term client retention.
