Job summary

DSV offers global air and sea freight forwarding and end-to-end logistics solutions. The Business Development Manager, Account Director will sell complex, multi-modal services to strategic clients, demanding an elite hunter profile and strong executive engagement.

Required are 5+ years in international freight forwarding, an active book of business, and English/Spanish fluency. Base pay ranges $113,000–$130,000 annually with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience in international freight forwarding.
• Current management of at least $1.5M+ in revenue or $250K+ GP with growth.
• Experience selling Air & Sea forwarding solutions through international providers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Generate qualified pipeline through hunting, prospecting, and executive outreach.
• Lead RFQs/RFPs and sell multi-modal forwarding solutions across air, ocean, and customs.
• Maintain executive-level client relationships and strategic account plans.
• Collaborate with operations, pricing, product, and trade lanes to meet requirements.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service solutions with customers.
• Manage CRM with up-to-date information and monitor market trends.
