Job summary

DSV is seeking a Global Account Director to manage a portfolio of key global accounts in transport and logistics from the USA. You will drive revenue growth, implement account strategies, and lead a team of account managers reporting to the VP of Sales.

Responsibilities include aligning global account structures, expanding services, and presenting performance reviews to clients and leadership. English fluency is required; master’s degree and 10+ years in logistics sales are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field is required.
• Master's degree in business or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or account management in the transportation and logistics industry.
• Experience managing global accounts and developing account strategies is required.
• Experience working in a multinational corporation is required.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead global alignment of the account management structure across regions.
• Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at global accounts.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and increase revenue.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational excellence and timely resolution of issues.
• Prepare and present business reviews and performance reports to clients and DSV management.
• Conduct regular account planning and review meetings with the team.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and responsiveness.
