Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a strategic sourcing leader to drive the supplier strategy for Fluids Systems, focusing on capacity growth and sustainable, cost-competitive sourcing to support Long Range Forecast through 2030 and beyond.

The role requires leading supplier panels, negotiating terms, and guiding procurement processes. Candidates should have 5+ years in Sourcing/SC/Engineering, with strong analytical and leadership skills reflected in a capable, results-driven profile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, and/or Engineering.
• Prior sourcing experience in negotiating, identifying opportunities, selecting suppliers, sourcing strategy, and implementing contracts (T&Cs negotiations).
• MBA or advanced degree preferred; GE Leadership program experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels.
• Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers; negotiate terms and conditions.
• Transmit information to Procurement; manage claims; include commercial sourcing analysis and related activities.
• May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resources; influence policy and strategy.
• Advise management and provide recommendations; handle complex tasks with high judgment.
