Job summary

Vista Flight Support in Columbus, OH is seeking a Flight Support Agent to manage operational logistics for flights, coordinating ground handling, permits, fuel and slots. You will liaise with partners, authorities and service providers to ensure on-time performance and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated accuracy and punctuality under pressure.
• Excellent command of English for stakeholder communication.
• Knowledge of business aviation Ground Operations, Flight Dispatch or Flight Planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update Vista’s Global View platform to ensure smooth communication with partners and internal teams.
• Arrange ground handling services, airport slots, and fuel per procedures.
• Coordinate with external providers (handling agents, FBOs, fuel suppliers, authorities) for ground services and requirements.
• Request overflight and landing permits as required by procedures.
• Submit flight, crew and passenger information to customs and border agencies.
• Provide accurate flight status updates during planning (times, fuel stops, en-route issues).
• Coordinate with Tactical Controllers on preparation status and report discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure all tasks are completed within safety boundaries and meet client expectations.
