Amazon Web Services (AWS) Global Financial Services (GFS) seeks an experienced Principal Solutions Architect to lead cloud architectures for global financial services customers. You will drive technology adoption, craft scalable cloud solutions, and partner with AWS teams to accelerate customer success and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate balances technical depth with strong interpersonal skills, engaging with C-level audiences and delivering world-class architectures on AWS.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology domain experience (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)

Responsibilities

• As a key member of the account team, ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS platform.
• Formulate and execute strategy for successful adoption of AWS technologies.
• Own the technical relationship with customers and make recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability and operational efficiency.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions for cloud deployment.
• Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or using AWS.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals to enable cloud advocacy.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support.
