Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
3–5 years nonprofit/public accounting experience; CPA preferred.
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

Review the cash receipts coding.
Prepare monthly analysis between CRM and Finance GL; resolve discrepancies.
Perform monthly bank and investment reconciliations; review supporting schedules.
Manage estate gift and insurance application processes.
Prepare monthly reconciliations and journal entries for national fundraisers.
Maintain A/P Portal and Excel integration files.
Assist with annual external audit and IRS Form 990 processes.
Oversee processing of estate gifts and update outstanding receivables.
