Job summary

McDonald’s Corporate Controller Group is seeking a Senior, Financial Reporting in Chicago, IL. This role supports GAAP accounting for the International Developmental Licensee segment and oversees intercompany processes, SOX controls, and external reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative to improve processes.

• Strong organizational skills and independence in teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact with IDL Finance teams and SME on US GAAP for Intl Developmental Licensee.
• Oversee intercompany process and support monthly general ledger close.
• Prepare and present AR aging analysis to leadership.
• Prepare and review internal controls for SOX compliance.
• Support 10‑Q/10‑K reporting and cash flow processes.
• Collaborate with team on finance modernization projects.
• Identify efficiency opportunities and participate in ad hoc projects.
• Build trusting relationships with global markets contacts and partners.
