Job summary

Korn Ferry seeks a Global Director, Finance Shared Services, to lead and transform the worldwide Finance Shared Services organization from the Greater Minneapolis area. You will drive automation, process excellence, and scalable capabilities across CtC, P2P, and T&E, partnering with senior leaders across Finance, IT, Procurement, HR, and business teams.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Shared Services, Global Business Services, Finance Operations, or Finance Transformation.
Deep expertise across Credit-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Travel & Expense processes.
Proven experience leading large globally dispersed teams and developing high-performing leaders.
Track record of building and scaling shared services organizations, governance frameworks, and global operating models.
Experience with finance transformation, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
Experience with ERP platforms, workflow technologies, analytics, and AI in finance.
Strong understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, and risk management.

Responsibilities

Lead a global Finance Shared Services organization across multiple regions, cultures, and time zones.
Develop and coach senior leaders while driving talent, succession, and organizational capability strategies.
Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Provide strategic leadership and governance across Credit-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Travel & Expense processes.
Drive performance in onboarding, credit/collections, AP, supplier management, and working capital initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, efficiency, and user experience across finance operations.
Develop and execute the global finance operations transformation roadmap.
Lead process standardization, simplification, automation, and operating model improvements.
Partner with Finance, IT, and external vendors to optimize ERP, workflow, analytics, AI, and automation solutions.
Champion change management and drive adoption of new technologies and processes.
Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, governance forums, and operational dashboards.
Improve service quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, cycle times, and cost efficiency.
Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance.
Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Partner with Controllership, Internal Audit, Procurement, HR, IT, and business leaders to support enterprise priorities.
Influence decisions related to organizational design, operating models, technology investments, and transformation initiatives.
