Job summary

Korn Ferry seeks a seasoned Senior Director, Global Corporate Controller in New York City to lead core controllership functions for a fast-growing commercial real estate services organization. You will partner with the Chief Accounting Officer to drive global close, consolidation, and transformation initiatives while ensuring accurate, scalable financial reporting.

This high-impact role requires deep US GAAP expertise, strong leadership of accounting teams, and hands-on oversight of processes

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including controllership.
Deep knowledge of US GAAP, consolidation, and complex accounting.
Public company experience strongly preferred.
Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams.
Experience supporting M&A, purchase accounting, and integrations.
Strong systems aptitude and experience driving process improvement and automation.
Ability to operate with confidence at the executive level while remaining hands-on when needed.

Responsibilities

Lead and enhance global month-end close and consolidation process.
Own close governance, including calendars, accountability, controls, and close technology.
Oversee the preparation and review of monthly consolidated financial statements, including analytics.
