Job summary

PwC is seeking a Finance Transformation Director - Finance Operations to lead client-facing finance consulting, improve operations, streamline processes, strengthen controls, and design automation and shared services.

As a Director, you will set strategic direction, drive growth, mentor leaders, and manage executive-level client relationships while guiding multidisciplinary workstreams and delivering practical, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 9 years of experience required.
• Experience leading finance transformation engagements across complex client portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Leading finance transformation engagements that improve financial operations, shared services, and process efficiency across client organizations.
• Setting direction for workstreams that redesign accounts payable, accounts receivable, order to cash, and financial close activities.
• Guiding the design and implementation of finance process automation, digital tooling, and financial system administration solutions.
• Developing operating models that strengthen financial controls, reporting accuracy, and transaction processing effectiveness.
• Advising client leaders on financial strategy, forecasting, budgeting, modeling, and performance improvement opportunities.
• Building relationships with finance executives to shape engagement scope, identify transformation priorities, and expand business opportunities.
• Overseeing delivery teams in assessing current-state processes, identifying gaps, and defining future-state finance operating models.
• Applying knowledge of accounting practices, financial reporting, and internal controls to support transformation design and implementation.
• Coaching teams on change activities, issue resolution, and practical use of AI-enabled finance solutions.
• Contributing thought leadership on finance operations modernization, operating efficiency, and technology-driven process improvement.
