Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Mechanical Field Service Technician to repair and install equipment at customer sites, oversee start-up, perform maintenance, and monitor product performance. You will manage the tool truck for on-site support, travel as needed, and train customers on proper operating procedures.

Responsibilities include disassembly, inspection, and assembly, with emphasis on seals and pump components, while maintaining thorough records and upholding Flowserve values in safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Direct in-person service calls and on-site repairs.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment and pumps; install seals and gaskets.

Responsibilities

• Make direct, in-person service calls in response to customer requests.
• Assess mechanical problems and take actions to resolve promptly.
• Oversee the full repair cycle: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and assembly.
• Travel 70% of the time with overnight stays.
• Train customers on operating and maintaining Flowserve products.
• Collaborate with Flowserve repair centers, customer service and sales engineering.
• Maintain accurate records: daily reports, quotes, jobs performed, and time/materials charged.
• Communicate Flowserve values for ethics, safety and quality.
