Job summary

Flowserve US Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Field Service Technician to repair and install equipment at customer sites, oversee start-up, perform maintenance, and monitor performance.

You will travel up to 70% (globally at times), work with customer personnel, lead onsite crews, and train customers on operating Flowserve pumps and systems. Strong reading of blueprints and the ability to read mechanical drawings are required.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in mechanical field service, repairing pumps.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Willing to travel up to 70% with overnight stays.
• Active clean driver’s license (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Make direct, in-person service calls in response to customer requests.
• Assess mechanical problems and resolve promptly.
• Lead work crews and supervise on-site repairs.
• Oversee the disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of pumps.
• Train customers on operating Flowserve products.
• Maintain organized records of daily reports, quotes, and time/materials charged.
• Travel globally for extended periods as needed.
• Communicate Flowserve values for ethics, safety, and quality.
