Flowserve seeks a Mechanical Field Service Technician to repair and install equipment at customer sites, oversee start-up and maintenance, and monitor performance of Flowserve products. This role manages a company tool truck for onsite repairs and travels extensively to support customers globally.

Responsibilities include direct service calls, leading repair cycles, training customers, and maintaining detailed records. Strong pump repair skills and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in mechanical field service, especially repairing pumps.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Must travel 70% with frequent overnight stays.
• DOT physical with clean driving record.]
• Physical required: lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work outside year-round.

Responsabilités

• Make direct, in-person service calls to customer requests.
• Assess mechanical problems and resolve promptly.
• Lead repair cycles: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and assembly; install pump seals.
• Travel up to 70% of the time, including overnight stays.
• Train customers on operating Flowserve products.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and time/material records.
