Job summary

Flow Control Group is seeking skilled pump repair technicians to disassemble, inspect, and rebuild centrifugal and other pumps. You will measure critical dimensions, replace bearings and seals, and align equipment using precise tools.

You will document repairs, read drawings, and conduct testing to meet OEM specifications. The role includes field service, onsite installation and maintenance, and collaboration with customers to recommend repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of industrial mechanical repair experience preferred.
• Ability to read precision measuring instruments.
• Experience repairing centrifugal pumps or rotating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pump repair and maintenance: disassemble, inspect, evaluate, and rebuild pumps.
• Measure shaft runout, bearing fits, impeller clearances, and other dimensions.
• Replace bearings, seals, wear rings, and other components.
• Align pumps and drivers using laser or dial indicators.
• Troubleshoot vibration, leakage, and performance issues.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and OEM manuals.
• Prepare equipment for testing and final inspection.
• Assist in estimating repair requirements and parts.
