Job summary
Air Products seeks a Global Support and Services Technician to join our Global Service & Support team. You will lead commissioning, startup, operation, and maintenance of equipment across marine and land-based facilities while traveling ~30% internationally.
You’ll provide troubleshooting, training, and support for quotes and orders. Ideal candidates are technically proficient, safety-focused, and customer-oriented, thriving in fast-paced environments with independent work and cross-functional
Qualifications
- Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Technology.
- 3–5 years in field service, commissioning, or industrial maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
- Willingness to travel ~30% domestically and internationally.
- Excellent communication and customer-focused approach.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary technical representative at customer sites.
- Plan and execute commissioning, startup, maintenance safely.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Provide technical guidance and customer training.
- Prepare reports, quotes, and follow-up documentation.
- Support sales and spare parts activities as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of equipment and best practices.
