Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Global Support and Services Technician to join our Global Service & Support team. You will install, commission, operate, and maintain equipment across marine and land-based industries, traveling roughly 30% domestically and internationally.

You’ll troubleshoot, train customers, and support quotations while ensuring safety and high service standards. You will act as the primary technical representative at customer sites, planning activities, and delivering timely service

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of field service, commissioning, industrial maintenance, or technical support experience.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally ~30% of the time, including overnights.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical representative at customer sites, ensuring professional image and service excellence.
• Coordinate and execute commissioning, startup, maintenance, and service activities safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and industrial equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Provide technical guidance, operational support, and customer training as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards.
• Prepare accurate service reports, time/expense logs, and technical documentation.
