Job summary

Air Products in the United States seeks a Global Support and Services Technician to join our Global Service & Support team. You will install, commission, operate, and maintain equipment across marine and land-based facilities, traveling ~30% to customer sites worldwide.

As a trusted technical expert you will troubleshoot, provide training, support quotations, and ensure safety and quality across diverse environments while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical/electrical/industrial technology or related field.
• 3–5 years of field service, commissioning, industrial maintenance, or technical support.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical representative at customer sites, delivering professional service.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning, startup, maintenance, and service activities safely.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and industrial equipment.
• Provide technical input to quotations, service proposals, and follow-up activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve service delivery and resolve issues.
