Job summary

Vitruvian Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. The role focuses on on-site and phone support to resolve customer issues quickly while maintaining professionalism. Domestic and international travel, plus weekends, is required.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience with 480V/24V systems, and a background in industrial maintenance, preferably in food processing. Welding and fabrication are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years industrial maintenance experience (preferred in food processing).
• Ability to read electrical schematics/blueprints and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues.
• Willingness to travel about 75% of the time and work weekends as required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead and first point of contact on all service-related calls, treating customers with respect while resolving issues.
• Provide on-site technical service at customer facilities, supporting electrical, mechanical, and assembly tasks.
• Recommend parts and additional services to customers on-site to meet their needs.
• Ensure all jobs are completed; avoid leaving tasks unfinished and escalate to management if needed.
• Forward potential sales leads to the Sales team with contact information and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, including trip reports, time allocations, and customer data.
