Job summary

MS Ultrasonic Technology is seeking a Service Technician to support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ultrasonic welding and punching equipment. This is a hands-on role with frequent travel to customer sites and collaboration with customers, distributors, and field staff to ensure uptime.

You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues, perform assembly and wiring, and document service activities.

Qualifications

• Journeyman card or comparable certification.
• 2–5 years machine building experience in automotive or similar environments.
• 2–5 years wiring, installing, and troubleshooting industrial machinery.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Experience operating mills, lathes, saws, and welders.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Field Service & Customer Support: travel to customer facilities for installations, startups, repairs, and maintenance; diagnose and resolve issues; build relationships with customers and distributors.
• Machine Assembly & Manufacturing: perform mechanical/electrical assembly, test components, wire control panels, install and connect control systems.
• Troubleshooting & Quality Assurance: troubleshoot systems, repair and rework assemblies, inspect quality and conformance, document results.
• Administrative Support: assist with orders, inventory, invoices, and project monitoring.
