• Strong electronics troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are essential.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including air travel.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Valid driver’s license and familiarity with MS Office.

Responsabilités

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician with strong electronics troubleshooting and hands-on technical skills to install, service, and troubleshoot sophisticated industrial machinery at customer sites across the country.

This is a 75% travel position, with approximately 75% of your time spent traveling to customer facilities. Overtime opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical/electronic issues using a systematic troubleshooting approach.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics to identify and correct equipment problems.
• Replace failed components and verify equipment is fully operational following repairs.
• Provide technical support to customers by phone and in the field.
• Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Complete required service documentation and paperwork.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent hands-on experience with electrical/electronic equipment.
• Strong electronics troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are essential.
• Ability to use test equipment and read wiring diagrams/schematics.
• Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers.
• Basic computer/networking skills and proficiency with MS Office.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively, including air travel and short-notice assignments.
• Willingness to work overtime.
