Automated Industrial Robotics Rochester Hills seeks a Service Engineer to travel extensively and perform on-site service at customer facilities, ensuring safety and optimal machine performance.

Responsibilities include installing and configuring complex machinery, aligning equipment, diagnosing issues, replacing parts, maintaining records, and providing technical guidance to customers; candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 3 years in machine building or field service, with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in machine building or field service; or another similar role.
• Must be able to travel within the US and internationally.
• FANUC robots familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel 80% or more to customer sites, including domestic and international assignments.
• Set specified clearances between moving and stationary parts to ensure safety and performance.
• Align machines and equipment using precision tools to maintain efficiency.
• Assemble, install, and configure complex machinery per engineering specs and customer needs.
• Dismantle/reassemble machines for repair or relocation, ensuring factory standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on-site and provide solutions under time constraints.
• Maintain service records, including work performed and parts used.
