Zusammenfassung

Cadence Design Systems is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, and maintain Cadence hardware emulation platforms, primarily supporting the Atlanta data center with coverage for other eastern US locations. You will be the hardware technical representative onsite at customer sites, in domestic and international travel, and you’ll report to the Field Service Manager in San Jose.

The role requires a BS with 4+ years or MS with 2+ years in related hardware, strong Linux/Unix

Qualifikationen

• BS with 4+ years OR MS with 2+ years of related hardware field service experience.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and travel domestically and internationally.
• US driver’s license and passport.

Aufgaben

• Primary contact for all hardware related issues.
• Planning and installation of new equipment; reconfiguring existing equipment.
• Troubleshoot/diagnose and repair hardware and other problems; escalate as needed.
• Document all work processes as required.
• Establish a strong supportive relationship with customers.
• Inventory control.
• Collaborate with Field Service team and Cadence groups to improve processes.
