Job summary

Acclaro Corporationis seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Seattle, WA or Atlanta, GA region. You will perform on-site service, installation, repair, and upgrades for laser systems and subsystems at customer sites or head office.

The role requires 75% travel and strong customer-facing skills. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Electronics or Laser Technology, familiarity with Salesforce, DOS, Word and Excel, and the ability to work independently while maintaining service

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Laser Technology or equivalent.
Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight lodging.
Ability to travel internationally is a plus.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage solutions on-site.

Responsibilities

Repair, test, calibrate and install laser systems and sub-assemblies during field visits.
Identify potential problems affecting task completion and equipment performance.
Maintain accurate service records and interact with customers.
Provide professional, courteous, on-site technical service.
Maintain tools and test equipment; adhere to safety procedures.
Collaborate to update technical support processes and product knowledge.
