Job summary

The Recruiting Hive seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer to drive global field deployments of industrial automation. You will lead on-site installations, FAT/SAT testing, and engineering change submissions, reporting directly to leadership in a high-visibility role from a state-of-the-art facility near Menomonee Falls, WI.

Expect 40–70 travel days/year across domestic and international sites, a base salary up to $80,000, per diem, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of verifiable field service/commissioning experience on complex electro-mechanical industrial machinery or capital equipment.
• Fully capable of troubleshooting automated systems and interpreting multi-page electrical/mechanical schematics.
• Willing and able to travel 40–70 days per year; valid passport.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and professional conduct in field settings.
• Reside within daily commuting distance of Menomonee Falls, WI and possess a complete field service toolset.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder).

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site machinery installations, system integrations, and final SAT at client sites worldwide with professional guidance to operators.
• Diagnose electro-mechanical faults using advanced diagnostic methods and multi-page schematics.
• Manage PLC/HMI software downloads, verify parameters, and work safely in high-voltage panels and drives.
• Spearhead FAT planning and execution to ensure zero-defect quality before shipment.
• Submit Engineering Change Requests based on field feedback to design engineering.
• Oversee technical setup and electrical/hookup of equipment for industry trade shows.
