Job summary
Infinitesima is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and service advanced semiconductor metrology systems at customer sites worldwide. You will handle preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and on-site support, travelling internationally up to 20% of your time.
A degree in Engineering or Physics or equivalent experience is valued. Experience with semiconductor equipment, metrology or precision instrumentation is preferred.
Qualifications
- Requires proven ability to install, maintain and repair complex equipment.
- Must be comfortable explaining technical issues to customers.
- Open to international travel up to 20% of time.
- Background in semiconductor/precision instruments is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission and upgrade advanced metrology systems at customer sites worldwide.
- Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, optical and system faults.
- Support customers remotely and on-site to maintain performance.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues early.
- Train distributors and customer service teams.
- Provide field feedback to engineering for product improvements.
- Support production and commissioning activities at Abingdon HQ when needed.
