Job summary

Rhoda AI seeks a Field Deployment Lead to own end-to-end robot deployments across logistics and manufacturing sites. You will handle site prep, installation, integration, FAT/SAT, and transition to steady-state operations from our ROC.

Travel to international sites is expected, with on-site blocks during ramp periods. You will design and maintain runbooks, train contract operators, manage service partners, and collaborate with engineering and remote support teams to ensure deployments meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Mechatronics or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years in industrial robotics deployment, commissioning or field engineering.
• Electro-mechanical troubleshooting with multimeter and oscilloscope in industrial environments.
• Proven FAT/SAT execution and robot/system commissioning at customer sites.
• Linux CLI abilities; basic Python and shell; Docker familiarity.
• ROS or ROS2 experience or willingness to learn.
• Strong runbooks and documentation writing.
• Available to start October 2026 and able to travel internationally.
• US citizenship or work authorization; valid passport; 70%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Own site preparation, installation, integration, and commissioning at new customer sites.
• Lead FAT/SAT sign-off with customer teams and ensure production-readiness.
• Coordinate deployment timelines with Application Engineering, Development Engineering, and remote teams.
• Document configurations, decisions, and site adaptations for deployments.
• Create operational runbooks, train contract operators, set SOPs, and hand over to CS teams.
• Manage local service partners; define scope, SLA, and training.
• Capture field learnings and feed insights to Engineering and CS groups.
• Develop maintenance procedures and spare parts planning for each site.
