Job summary

Eka Robotics seeks a Forward Deployed Robotics Engineer to act as the on-site technical expert for robotic manipulation systems and to support deployments and demos globally. You will analyze field tickets, reproduce issues, gather diagnostics, and drive root-cause resolution to maximize fleet uptime, with a strong emphasis on process improvement and communication.

You will travel 50%+ to lead deployments, advise on tooling, and work closely with R&D teams to elevate field capabilities and

Qualifications

• B.S. in robotics or a related field.
• 2+ years debugging complex hardware-software systems in deployment.
• Experience parsing log files and writing Python scripts.
• Excellent communication during solo customer engagements and handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure robotic arms, grippers and cameras on-site.
• Triage fleet issues across hardware, software and operational layers.
• Perform on-site diagnostics and RCA to reproduce field failures.
• Analyze telemetry, sensor streams and logs for diagnostics.
• Collaborate with hardware and software R&D to improve tooling and diagnostics.
• Develop standard diagnostic procedures, flowcharts and guides.
• Document deployment procedures for third-party integrators.
• Travel 50%+ to lead deployments and demos.
