Job summary

KLA is seeking an on-site Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, and support semiconductor equipment at customer sites. The role requires 3 years of experience in the semiconductor field or equivalent military service, with extensive travel (80-90%).

Candidates should be able to independently install tools, prepare field service reports, and coordinate ongoing installation progress while maintaining customer satisfaction and product performance.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in semiconductor or related field/military service.

Responsibilities

• Own installation of new tools at customer sites independently and only occasionally require guidance from managers.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex system level problems during installations using standard procedures and BKMs.
• Take full ownership of install administrative tasks and contribute to post-activity Quality Feedback Report.
• Obtain international travel documents and be ready to travel for extended periods.
