Job summary

KLA is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, diagnose and service semiconductor equipment at customer sites across the United States and internationally. You will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure fast, effective service delivery and maintain high equipment performance.

The role requires frequent travel (domestic and international) and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience, with strong problem‑solving skills and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, analyzes, diagnoses and troubleshoots technical equipment problems.
• Troubleshoots and repairs complex system‑level problems with guidance as needed.
• Prepares field service reports and daily pass‑downs on installation progress and non‑conformances.
• Obtains international travel documents and manages personal finances for extended travel.
• Travels domestically and internationally to customer sites.
• Assists junior engineers with guidance and on‑site support.
