Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an Infrastructure Technical Program Manager to support and deploy one of the world’s largest and most complex telecommunication networks. This role executes strategic plans to improve business processes and deployment of hyper-scaled cloud infrastructure across North and South America, with emphasis on quality control, stakeholder communication, and field deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.
• 3+ years managing third-party construction or infrastructure vendors, including tracking delivery timelines and KPIs.
• 3+ years auditing completed construction, reviewing fiber test results, and coordinating site access in security-regulated environments.
• 3+ years identifying deployment bottlenecks, managing escalations, and balancing business needs with technical constraints.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to deployment manager; provide regular updates to NASA and senior management.
• Drive network infrastructure strategy as a key North/South America GCID-FD team member.
• Manage vendor delivery timelines, measure progress, and rate performance with KPIs.
• Develop quality management programs, track defects, mitigate risks, and implement root-cause analysis.
• Create standardized deployment progress reports for management and stakeholders.
• Oversee network plan tracking from approved plans to in-service delivery.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, vendors, and senior management across locations.
