Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Technical Program Manager to drive fiber deployment across global networks. You will lead program management, coordinate with Networking, Data Center Engineering, and Security, and manage vendor performance to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires extensive travel (up to 60%), and involves reporting, process improvement, and collaboration with a large cross-functional team to support AWS internal infrastructure globally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program management or technical project management.
• 5+ years of data center or network capacity planning or related technical experience.
• Experience in scripting for automation (Python) and SQL.
• PMP certificate or Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or related field.
• Understanding of OSP and ISP construction standards in multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report vendor delivery of fiber infrastructure projects.
• Script data sources to automate reporting for a large stakeholder body.
• Understand fiber optic outside plant, process engineering, construction management, and QC systems.
• Reports to the Fiber Deployment Manager and updates senior management with standardized reporting.
• Interface with internal stakeholders to obtain requirements and drive vendors to meet business needs.
• Manage multiple cross-functional projects on a global scale.
• Travel up to 60% for project inspections.
