Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Ops Manager to lead and coordinate mechanical and electrical operations across a portfolio of facilities.

You will direct a team, drive reliability and performance, and ensure alignment with CBRE standards and client requirements. This role oversees global engineering operations for multiple regions, manages projects with contractors, and mentors staff while developing budgets and long-term strategic plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; alternative experience considered.
• Engineering body membership preferred.
• 3–5 years relevant experience.
• Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Experience with staffing, training and performance appraisals.
• Excellent client relationship skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead Facilities Engineering & Critical Infrastructure strategy.
• Oversee engineering operations across US, Canada, and South America.
• Manage MEP projects with third-party engineers/contractors.
• Supervise staff, conduct evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate daily team activities and schedules.
• Manage contractors and maintenance operations.
• Develop annual operating budgets and forecast O&M costs.
• Schedule maintenance in line with customer requirements.
