Job summary

CBRE, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Engineering Ops Manager to lead a team responsible for implementing, coordinating, and managing mechanical and electrical operations for facilities across a portfolio.

You will oversee maintenance, project coordination with engineers and contractors, and staff development to ensure reliability and performance. This role belongs to Engineering and Technical Services. The team drives preventive maintenance, repairs, and operational excellence across multiple locations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Membership of an Engineering related professional body (e.g., CIBSE/IEE) preferred.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, measuring, appraising and retaining performance preferred.
• Ability to convey sensitive information, set performance expectations and solve problems.
• Leadership skills to motivate impact on quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the discipline.
• Excellent client relationship skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead Facilities Engineering & Critical Infrastructure, responsible for strategy, reliability, resilience, and operational performance of mission-critical infrastructure.
• Manage engineering operations across the US, Canada, and South America, ensuring aligned strategic management across all operating regions.
• Develop and execute the long-term critical infrastructure strategy aligned with business growth and technology requirements.
• Oversee all MEP projects and coordinate with third-party engineers and contractors to execute such projects.
• Provide formal supervision to employees, oversee training and development, conduct evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate daily activities, set schedules, assign tasks, and mentor staff.
