Job summary

Agile Cold Storage is seeking an Export Documentation Specialist to prepare and manage export paperwork for perishable goods stored in cold facilities. You will ensure compliance with international trade regulations and coordinate with internal departments and external parties to facilitate smooth export processes.

The role emphasizes strong computer skills, attention to detail, organization, and a willingness to learn, with training provided on regulatory information and documentation processes.

Qualifications

• Experience creating export documents (packing lists, bills of lading, USDA Export Health Certificates)
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and export controls
• Ability to learn Agile Export Process and maintain high documentation accuracy
• Excellent data entry and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Create and review all export documents including packing lists, bills of lading, USDA Export Health Certificates, and other required documentation based on destination country regulations.
• Accurately input product details, quantities, weights, and shipping information into export documents.
• Verify compliance with USDA and destination country export regulations.
• Coordinate with external customers and warehouse staff to gather accurate product information and provide export documents.
• Maintain updated knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and export control laws.
• Monitor and track export shipments to ensure documents are signed prior to vessel departure dates.
• Conduct thorough document checks to identify and rectify errors and report them to management.
• Maintain organized digital and physical files of all export documents and related correspondence.
• Generate reports on export activities, including shipment tracking and compliance status.
