Hyve seeks an Event Director of LegalTechTalk USA to lead strategy, sales leadership and stakeholder relationships for a premier legal tech event in the United States. You will manage a global team, drive multi‑million-dollar budgets, and ensure revenue targets are met while delivering an exceptional attendee experience across the market.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in event management or an adjacent industry, with strong project delivery experience.
• Commercially minded and results-driven, with experience managing multi-million-pound budgets and forecasts.
• Experienced leader of multidisciplinary teams, able to collaborate effectively in a matrix environment.
• Strong senior stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills, including the ability to deliver difficult messages constructively.
• Highly organised, numerate and detail-oriented, with excellent planning and project management skills.
• Agile, resourceful and comfortable prioritising multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strategic thinker who can translate priorities into clear, tangible actions.
• Curious, quick to learn and focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
• Self-aware, empathetic and low ego, with a collaborative leadership style that builds trust and strong relationships.
• Strong problem-solving skills, resilience under pressure and a positive, can-do approach.
• Good understanding of relevant market and event industry trends.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, HubSpot and Power BI.

Aufgaben

• Leading on strategy, planning, delivery, industry positioning & ensuring financial budgets are achieved.
• Leading weekly progress meetings & reporting up to the Senior Leadership Team.
• Being accountable for the event’s overall performance targets, including the P+L.
• Working side by side with the SVP or Partnerships to ensure that all revenue targets are hit & trading updates are accurate & timely.
• Work with Founders, Portfolio Heads and Hyve’s strategy team to develop the event’s value proposition and strategy, identifying opportunities to innovate.
• Build and maintain key relationships vital for the success of the event, including trade associations, media, and bellwether accounts.
• Coaching the global team consistently to be goal oriented & working to their potential.
• Contributing thoughtfully to the overall strategy as part of the Event Leadership team & being a role model for the company culture & values.
• Displaying thoroughness & detail orientation about customer experience from prospect through to event execution.
• Staying informed on industry trends & engaging with the larger event industry.
