Job summary

Human Power BG is recruiting for a Global Sustainability Reporting Manager on behalf of our client. The role focuses on monitoring CSRD developments, shaping a roadmap to achieve compliance by fiscal year 2025, and designing an data governance framework for ESG data across systems.

The position also involves establishing CSRD reporting solutions, coordinating cross-functional projects, and driving the annual global sustainability reporting process with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field such as business administration, IT/ Data Science, sustainability management, or a comparable degree program.
• Experience in ESG/ non-financial reporting or sustainability management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in the field.
• Strong knowledge of applicable sustainability frameworks and reporting criteria.
• Strong affinity for IT and ideally prior experience with ESG data management in SAP-based IT landscapes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German would be considered an advantage).
• Analytical way of thinking combined with a strong affinity for numbers and an independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the development of CSRD, industry trends and sustainability-related disclosure and reporting regulations to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
• Evaluate the impact of the Sustainability Reporting Directive and develop a roadmap/program to ensure compliance of our client by fiscal year 2025.
• Develop a data management strategy aligned with the disclosure requirements of the CSRD that defines how to record and govern ESG data.
• Assist with establishing a reporting solution that integrates all CSRD aspects and ensures strict compliance with mandatory requirements.
• Manage projects related to ESG reporting and the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) in close collaboration with various stakeholders across functions and countries.
• Drive the annual global sustainability reporting process including the group-wide data collection as well as the report production process in collaboration with external agencies.
• Engage and collaborate with stakeholders in relevant committees and working groups on sustainability reporting.
