Job summary

Sigma Earth seeks a senior sustainability consultant to lead complex reporting portfolios, guiding projects from concept to delivery across GHG accounting, ESG strategy, and decarbonization initiatives.

You will own client relationships, deliver high-quality work on tight timelines, coach junior staff, and collaborate across teams to ensure consistent, standards-driven outputs for multiple clients in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in sustainability consulting or related field.
• Experience leading sustainability reporting projects and teams.
• Proven experience delivering GRESB Infrastructure responses.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainability reporting portfolios from concept to delivery.
• Deliver projects across GHG accounting, ESG strategy, climate risk, decarbonization, biodiversity.
• Own client relationships and provide trusted advisement.
• Manage challenges, develop solutions, and prepare proposals.
• Oversee timelines, budgets, staffing, and deliverables across assignments.
• Coach junior team members and support professional development.
• Review analyses to ensure quality and on-track delivery.
• Develop standards and documentation for consistency and reliability.
• Drive process innovations to create client value.
• Communicate complex topics to executives, including C-suite presentations.
• Handle high-pressure client requests with quality.
• Stay updated on frameworks like GRESB, CDP, EcoVadis, DJSI, and GHG Protocol.
• Collaborate across teams and geographies in a matrix organization.
