Job summary

Rippling in Canada is seeking a Payroll Specialist on the EOR Equity Services team. You’ll translate complex global equity events into compliant payroll runs across multiple jurisdictions, focusing on imputed income, tax withholding, and earnings codes.

With 5+ years in payroll and strong data skills, you’ll partner with engineers and clients to ensure accurate, timely payrolls while expanding knowledge in international equity compliance. This role supports remote work for BC-based candidates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in payroll operations, tax compliance, or handling imputed income.
• Multi-country payroll experience is a plus.
• Ability to translate complex tax guidance into clear client instructions.
• Comfort collaborating with engineers to fix software bugs and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Advise global customers on equity events and payroll setup across jurisdictions.
• Ensure stock option exercises and RSU vestings flow through local payrolls accurately.
• Explain equity outcomes and tax withholding to clients and employees.
