Job summary

Baseten is seeking a Global Equity Programs Lead to own the end‑to‑end equity operations model as we scale across countries and entities. You will manage the recurring calendar, grant activity, and data integrity across HRIS, payroll, cap table, and accounting systems.

You will collaborate with Legal, Tax, Payroll, Compensation, and Accounting to implement scalable processes, drive automation, and ensure compliant disclosures. This role offers significant equity and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in equity administration or equity operations in a tech company.

Responsibilities

• Build operating model for equity administration across countries and entities.
• Run recurring equity calendar with grants, vesting events, exercises, and terminations.
• Maintain integrity of equity records across platforms (HRIS, payroll, cap table, accounting).
• Translate compensation decisions into workflows and configurations.
• Coordinate international equity considerations with Legal, Tax, Payroll and Compensation teams.
• Manage equity refreshes‑ data prep, approvals, and communications.
• Assess proposed award structures for scalability and risk across compliance, tax, and accounting.
• Design control environment supporting accurate financial reporting and audits.
• Develop reporting on dilution, grant activity, vesting, and future obligations.
• Own the equity platform, data flows, integrations, and vendor performance.
• Create resources to help employees understand equity at onboarding, grants, vesting, and departures.
• Identify repetitive manual work and implement automation while preserving review and control.
• Help define team structure and determine insourcing vs. external support.
