Job summary

Base is seeking a payroll and equity administrator to own payroll processing and the equity program end to end. You will handle multi-state, hourly and field-team payroll, prepare journal entries, and maintain accurate cap tables and equity data.

You’ll also drive the transition to a new equity platform, oversee stock-based compensation accounting, and collaborate with People, Finance, and HR on changes and grants.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years in payroll and/or equity administration at a high-growth company.
• Hands-on experience processing payroll end to end, including journal entries and allocations.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll every cycle for Base's full employee population, including multi-state and hourly/field-team complexity.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and departmental/cost-center allocations, reconcile to general ledger.
• Administer Base's equity program: grants, vesting, exercises, cap table reconciliation.
