Job summary

Mars Veterinary Health is seeking an Enterprise Architecture Practice & Governance Lead to define, operate, and continuously improve the EA operating model. You will steward governance, standards, portfolio transparency, and the Architecture Community of Practice to drive harmonization and measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related discipline.
• TOGAF, Zachman, PEAF, or equivalent architecture frameworks preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Enterprise/ Solution Architecture, IT Governance, or related disciplines.
• Experience maturing architecture governance, technology standards, or portfolio management within a complex enterprise.
• Experience with architecture repositories, portfolio management tools, and governance processes.
• Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and operate the Enterprise Architecture governance framework (ARB, decisions, design authorities).
• Lead the Architecture Community of Practice across multiple domains.
• Develop architecture methodologies, playbooks, and reusable assets.
• Promote best practices and capability development across technology groups.
• Establish and maintain architecture decision management and governance reporting.
• Own lifecycle of enterprise technology standards and reference architectures.
• Lead technology evaluation and adoption of new technologies.
• Partner with domain architects to ensure standards meet business needs.
• Serve as business owner for LeanIX and EA repositories.
• Drive portfolio transparency to support investment decisions.
• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to align transformation initiatives.
• Provide architecture reporting to support digital strategy and investments.
• Define governance KPIs and measure architecture value.
