Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Global Engagement Program Assistant in Columbus to support the Global Engagement team. The role handles event planning, procurement, and coordination of activities promoting cultural exchange and belonging for international and domestic students.

It requires scheduling evening and weekend programs and managing travel and logistics. The position is a full-time, limited-term appointment with duties across office administration, outreach, and program execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
• Interest in working with international students and individuals.
• Ability to perform detailed work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability for evening and weekend work.
• Comfort presenting to large groups and leading activities.

Responsibilities

• Purchase and payment management, including quotes and expense documentation.
• Manage team email account and supply management.
• Coordinate travel participant agreements and off-campus trips.
• Plan events with the Global Engagement team and orientation activities.
• Lead social activities and coordinate room and bus reservations.
• Provide administrative and logistical support as assigned.
